1. I am new to UOB Kay Hian, how do I process my account opening?

The Applicant will be required to fill in the account opening form with valid details and a clear copy of :
Indonesian : KTP, NPWP, Statement of employment or Name card and Photocopy cover passbook.
Foreigner : Passport, KITAS, NPWP, Statement of employment or Name card and Photocopy cover passbook.
The account opening form will contain the profile of the applicant, employment, line of business, as well as source of income.
The applicant is also required to sign an agreement containing the terms and conditions of the trading account.
Once the applicant data is verified, trading limit will be assigned based on deposit (cash or shares) and the financial background of the applicant.
Once the account is approved and opened, a letter of account opening confirmation will be sent to the client.

A margin account will be available once the regular trading account is approved and traded for a minimum period as prescribed by IDX.

A new password or PIN will be generated and sent to you by email.

3. How do I update my personal data?

Contact our Client Service at +62 299 33 888 or Fill up the Update of Personal Particular Form and fax it to the Client Service Department at +62 2300 317 or email to csindonesia@uobkayhian.com

5. What is the commission charged by UOBKH?

Standard commission rates are charged for each Buy and Sell trade respectively.
  • Regular trading account: 0.25% and 0.35%
  • Internet & mobile trading account: 0.19% and 0.29%

    The settlement period are:
  • Regular market : T+3
  • Cash market : T+0
  • Negotiation market : Negotiated

  • 7. I already have an account with UOB Kay Hian. How do I gain access to trade on the
        UTRADE Trading Platforms?


    Download the Activate Internet Trading Facility Form, complete and email it to: utrade-cs-id@uobkayhian.com
    Alternatively, you can contact the Client Service Hotline at +62 299 33 999 or your Trading Representative for assistance.
    Your user ID and password will be sent to you in 2 separate mailers once the application is approved. 

    8. How long does it take to process the internet trading application?

    For existing clients, it takes an average of three working days upon receiving your completed forms. For new clients, it takes three working days to process your internet trading account however you can only start one day after your RDI account with your chosen payment bank is opened.
